The First Presbyterian Church is currently searching for an Associate Pastor to concentrate in the areas of youth, young adult, and family ministries. Candidates are encouraged to submit their Personal Information Forms though the Church Leadership Connection site of the Presbyterian Church, U.S.A., or directly via email to the chair of the Associate Pastor Nominating Committee, Tom Dunn.

Spaghetti Dinner
The Youth Fundraising Spaghetti Dinner will be held  June 27th  at 11:30 AM in Fisher Hall.  Proceeds go towards the Youth Summer Mission Trip to New Orleads, LA. PM. 

Summer Mission Trip to New Orleans, LA
The Youth Summer Mission Trip will travel to New Orleans, LA on Saturday, July 3rd thru Sunday, July 11, 2010 as follows:

We will be working on finishing home construction (painting, landscape, etc.) in St. Bernard Parish. This is an area where 100% of homes were damaged and uninhabitable after Hurricane Katrina.  This mission is open to all the community.

The youth mission trip has been an annual blessing to the kids that attend, the communities we serve and our church family as a whole. I can't wait to share a week in New Orleans with everyone as we grow in Christ through serving as He did.

4th of July Brunch and Ice Cream Social
The 4th of July Brunch and Ice Cream Social will be held at 11:30 AM in Fisher Hall. 

Youth Basketball Camp - July
A Youth Basketball Camp will be held on July 12th thru July 15, 2010 from 9 AM to 11 AM; and 1 PM to 3 PM.

Mill Valley High School Men's Assistant Basketball Coach, Adam King, will be leading 2 camps as follows:

9 AM to 11 AM - 1st thru 5th graders
1 PM to 3 PM - 6th thru 8th graders

The camp will be held in the Family Life Center of the First Presbyterian Church.

A Youth Basketball Camp will be held on August 2nd thru August 5th, 2010 from 9 AM to 11 AM; and 1 PM to 3 PM.

Manhattan High School Men's Assistant Basketball Coach, James Dunnigan, will be leading 2 camps as follows:

9 AM to 11 AM - 1st thru 5th graders
1 PM to 3 PM - 6th thru 8th graders

The camp will be held in the Family Life Center of the First Presbyterian Church.

Freedom 5K Run and 1.5 Mile Fun Run/Walk
The Freedom 5K will be held Sunday, September 12, 2010 at 8:00 AM.  Proceeds from the event benefit the Flint Hills Autism Support Network, The Flint Hills Community Clinic and P.R.A.Y.
