The Planning committee:

  1. Defines and articulates the long-term goals and priorities of the church.
  2. Following discussion of a blueprint for implementation, proposed actions should be conveyed to the Session, Deacons, or other committees when appropriate.
  3. Operates primarily as a "think tank" but may also implement its own programs when ideas do not overlap with existing committees.
