The duties of the Business Affairs/Building & Grounds committee shall be to:

  1. Monitor monthly financial statements.
  2. Oversee church financial record keeping system.
  3. Arrange for money counters.
  4. Periodically review church investments.
  5. Serve as the Memorials Committee overseeing the General Memorial Fund and other memorial funds of the church.
  6. Make recommendations to the Session for expenditures for the General Memorial Fund, which then much be approved by a vote of 2/3 of the entire membership of the Session.
  7. Develop an annual budget.
  8. Monitor repair and maintenance of building.
  9. Make necessary repairs within limits of the budget.
  10. Seek the best insurance coverage for the church.
  11. Seek approval of the Session for any repairs that exceed the annual budget or any single repair in excess of one thousand dollars.
  12. Submit to Session for approval of insurance coverage at each renewal period.
