Community Lenten Lunches, Wednesdays beginning February 20 at 11:45 a.m.
Lenten Lunches will take place at First United Methodist Church.

Palm Sunday Experience for Families
9:15am Children’s Walk with Jesus
(Activity Stations beginning in the Education Wing by the Palm Sunday Mural)
10:10am Children’s choir meets for practice in Chapel.

Maundy Thursday, March 29
Maundy Thursday Dinner and Seder Ritual
Experience a portion of the meal Jesus would have celebrated with his disciples on the night of his arrest. We will have both a formal meal with brisket and sides from Cox Brothers and a special meal which highlights meaningful moments from the Jewish Tradition of the Seder.
Meal available from 6pm. (Donations to cover cost accepted.)
Remembering the Seder Ritual and Communion will be observed beginning at 6:30pm.
You’re invited to come and remember with us! Please RSVP by calling the church or filling out a bulletin insert on Sunday to help us prepare the tables. Join us for this cultural and kid-friendly event!

Good Friday Tenebrae Service and Art Show, March 30
An evening of music, art and scripture, remembering Christ’s sacrifice. At 6pm the Art Show will open including work from Painting with our Neighbors events as well as the Manhattan Watercolor Studio. The traditional Tenebre service of lights will begin at 7pm and include special performances from First Presbyterian Ensembles: musicians from The Light, The Church Ladies, and Presby Players Wind and String Ensembles.

10:30 a.m. Traditional service, followed by World’s Greatest Easter Egg Hunt

World’s Greatest Easter Egg Hunt: Easter Sunday after the 10:30 a.m. worship service. in Friendship Park. Children are welcome to join in the festivities and collect eggs filled with goodies to celebrate the holiday!
