Lenten Small Groups
At First Pres, our Lenten Small Groups are coming together to prepare our hearts and minds for the upcoming Easter holiday. We encourage all members and friends to participate in a small group and our church-wide book study on Adam Hamilton’s 24 Hours that Changed the World. A list of the small groups may be found here: Small Group List. To sign-up, contact Pastor Zac, or submit this form to the church office: Sign-Up Sheet.
Walk to Jerusalem
As a way to promote health and wellness throughout the Lenten season, our congregation will participate in a “Walk to Jerusalem.” Beginning February 2nd and lasting through Easter Sunday, members of First Pres will cover 7,466 miles over 84 days. (That’s 89 miles per day as a congregation!) We hope you will join us in our walk to Jerusalem!
Presby Diners – January, February & March 2014
Open to all, Presby Diners is sponsored by the Membership, Fellowship and Church Growth committees of First Pres.
- Monthly events will be held in January, February and March. The “host” will provide the main dish and drinks. The “guests” will provide appetizer, salad, vegetable, bread or dessert that you and the “host” will agree on. Yes, you may purchase food.
- A typical gathering occurs on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday evening when approximately 8 to 10 people gather and share a meal and fellowship. It is a great opportunity to meet new people and renew old friendships. You will eat with a different group each month and it is open to singles, couples, members and non-members.
